Young Professionals
מועדון לסטודנטים בוגרים

Young(ish) and/or a Postgrad in Oxfordshire?
We are an eclectic and welcoming bunch, and range from post-grad students, working people and couples with young children and anyone else who feels that this is for them.

We hold regular potluck Friday night Shabbat dinners, usually held in people’s homes or colleges; occasionally Sunday / weekday evening activities: e.g. pub trips or walks.. The Friday night crowd draws people from many different Jewish denominations and backgrounds, and is open to all, whether religious or secular. Efforts are made to cater for all varieties of Jewish belief.  All food at pot luck dinners is vegetarian, or uses only kosher fish. We aim to have Friday nights every week in term-time, and also out of term-time if people volunteer to host.

During the pandemic we have held Zoom pot luck dinners and we have now made a cautious return to in-person pot luck since  Jewish New Year 5782.

We are very much self-led and open to ideas! You are welcome to join the Oxford Grad Jsoc Facebook group, but to find out about all regular events also contact ojcyoungprofessionals@gmail.com  News of our activities is sent out in a weekly email. (Emails are checked weekly).
