The Mosaic group organizes cultural and educational events for the community and these are generally about Judaism in the broadest sense. Regular events include talks (the current series is on Jewish music) and films, while it also organises the occasional concert. On Sunday mornings during the cheder term, Mosaic runs a café (good coffee, bagels with smoked salmon, etc) together with the Judaism 101 course.
Our events have included a Shir concert, a visit to a talk by Simon Schama, a Jewish Book week talk at the OJC with Gabriella Rifkind, a visit to Daytona and conversation with Maureen Lipman, Italian cooking demonstration with Silvia Nacmulli, study evening with Rafi Zarum, talks on political, historical, art and many other topics. Request a current Mosaic programme or contact [email protected] for more details. Sundays
