Brookes University  Annual Israel lecture

In 2019, the first annual "Israel lecture" was inaugurated as part of the Brooke's University public lecture series organised by the OBU Sam Zuckerberg Israel Scholarship Working Group. Since then lectures have been given every year by eminent speakers from the local Oxford Jewish community or friends thereof.

​These lectures have included: 
2019 Professor Yaacov Yadgar: "Israel and the problem of Jewish identity: State and identity politics in the Middle East"
 
2020 John Dunston: "The Search for Truth - Israel and it's Place in the World"
 
2021 Professor Raymond Dwek: "Tikkun Olam: Healing the World through Education and Science"
 
2022 Baroness Ruth Deech: "Freedom of Speech on Campus and the Question of Israel " which can be found here on youtube
