For many being a Jew is a cultural as much as a religious identity and there are many groups offering social and cultural activities outside the scope of the OJC. Although independent of the OJC we try to coordinate with these groups in order not to conflict for participation, and we often advertise their events as they help provide a rich and varied range of Jewish activities in Oxford
We see ourselves as an active part of the life of Oxford as a whole and have several annual interfaith events held with other religious communities to the benefit of all.
